While Neptune is assembling exposure to a range of digital assets then deriving yield from them via staking or validating, DeFi Technologies’ Valour Asset Management arm is slicing them up into exchange traded products and allowing the public to trade them back and forth, pocketing the spread on every transaction and a management fee for running the product. It’s still very early in the digital asset space, so in our role as investors, we can take positions in these ascendent companies trying different approaches, and in DEFI’s case, different markets (their operations are entirely in Europe).
